Whether you’re a fan of Dave Asprey and the Bulletproof Podcast, or not, the insights and knowledge that he provides is invaluable to everyday living – and in this article, you’ll find his insights regarding hypertension: the “silent killer.” and Zona Plus: Biohacking at its Finest.
Too often, we’re taught to believe that the only way to correct heightened blood pressure is with medication. The diagnosis sounds like a death sentence. But, in his usual fashion, Dave challenges that commonly-held belief.
Reduce Blood Pressure without Medication
Hypertension is serious, of course. If it’s running too high for too long, it puts you at risk for heart disease and stroke – as well as an array of other health risks. But what is meant by “too high”?
The American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association recently redefined hypertension as a blood pressure reading of 130/80 or higher. Previously, that threshold was 140/90. That change resulted in 31 million more people falling into a range of hypertension — meaning about 105 million U.S. adults age 20 and older.
But we’re fortunate to have partners like Zona Health: a company on a mission to prove that blood pressure can be controlled through isometric exercise. All nature. Functional. And without medication.

For those of you whose numbers may be higher than optimal, Zona Health has created the Zona Plus: a software-controlled, handheld device available that uses a series of uniquely-calibrated algorithms to determine the perfect handgrip exercise for each individual user.
Hand grip? Well, yes.
“The Zona is helping you do exactly what your body’s naturally programmed to do,” says CEO, Mark Young. “The device is not solving the problem; the device is training your body to solve its own problem.” (It’s also hacking time, taking only minutes per day to use.)
The cool factor? This device technology is based on decades of g-force experiments done by the U.S. Air Force. And did I mention the connection between nitric oxide production and erectile dysfunction?
In a world flooded by technology, it is no wonder that thousands of people are looking for ways in which technology can lower the risk of heart attack and stroke (and all the other bad things that happen when your blood pressure’s too high).
Enter, the Zona Plus: Biohacking at its Finest
“This is just a really cool tech, because instead of using drugs, instead of going out and making lifestyle changes that you probably really should make anyway, what they’re doing is, they’re using data and real-time feedback in order to teach your body to control its own blood pressure in a way that’s really profoundly effective very quickly with tons of science behind it,” says Asprey.
If you, or someone you love, is struggling with hypertension, give it a try. Dave is offering COUPON CODE: DAVE100 for a $100 savings off of the Zona Plus. Plus, the product comes with a 90-day money back guarantee. What’s to lose?

Where is the written article? Send me a concise, written by someone over 60 because dome of us actually can write or used to be able to article.
Hi Karl, thank you for your comment. There is a video by Dave Asprey at the bottom of the article. We unfortunately don’t have an article to refer to, however, if you prefer reading, in his book Super Human: The Bulletproof Plan to Age Backward and Maybe Even Live Forever, Dave Asprey talks about the Zona Plus in more detail.
I need to know the ACTUAL cost of the device, it appears deceptive to not share total cost up front regardless of discount…
The price is $599. You can find more information about this device at https://www.zona.com/
